Why olive wood
Plastic warps on a hot pan's edge. This never will.
It protects the good pans that metal quietly ruins.
Bacteria die on the wood. Scratched plastic hides them.
Bought once and passed down. Never thrown away.
WHY WE EXIST
For thousands of years kitchens were made of wood. Then came plastic — the kind that melts on the edge of a hot pan, scratches your good cookware, and, as researchers found in 2024, can carry flame retardants recycled from electronic waste. We do the opposite: solid olive wood that releases nothing into your food, protects your pans, and lasts for generations.
THE WHOLE COLLECTION
Limited batches
Olive wood seasons for years before it can be worked, and there is only so much reclaimed from the fallen groves. Each batch is small. When one sells out, you wait for the next.

Olivewood
Where it began
An invisible bacteria killed olive trees older than Rome — two thousand years, gone in five. The groves were cut down and burned. Rose, one of the last carvers of her generation, refused to let that wood end as ash.
